Jasmin Mangat, PhD

Therapy can be a place to finally reclaim yourself and feel empowered to advocate for yourself to build the life you want.

Dr. Mangat earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She completed both her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral training at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, where she worked within primary care settings and received specialized training in the treatment of PTSD.

During her time there, Dr. Mangat developed extensive experience supporting individuals coping with trauma, anxiety, and related concerns, using evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs.

She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate the challenges of trauma and anxiety with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based care. Her approach is grounded in the belief that healing is about understanding your experiences, reconnecting with your inner strengths, and building a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you are.

She values authenticity and collaboration in the therapeutic relationship, and strives to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Her work integrates approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based practices. She tailors each session to your unique needs, helping you develop practical tools to manage anxiety while also addressing the deeper patterns that keep it in place.

My Approach

Many of the people I work with are used to carrying a lot while appearing like they have their lives together. Some feel like they're struggling to stay afloat and get through the day. Maybe you’re exhausted from overthinking, constantly managing other people’s needs, staying emotionally guarded, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Trauma, painful life experiences, and even constant stressors can disconnect us from who we are, what we need, and what we deserve.

I specialize in trauma and PTSD therapy for adults who want more than symptom relief. They want freedom. Freedom from survival mode. Freedom from shame, fear, self-abandonment, and the roles they’ve had to play just to get through life.
